Kristyn joined DW Simpson in 2001 as a Recruiter. Prior to working at DW Simpson, she worked in luxury goods marketing and management for two years and in media at an advertising agency for one year.

In addition to her daily responsibilities working on a three-person team at DW Simpson, Kristyn organizes monthly company-wide meetings and discussion forums that focus on relevant industry events, current market trends and ongoing professional development. She also heads up the planning of DWS’s annual company retreat each Spring.

Each December Kristyn partners with Chicago-based Direct Effect Charities in order to facilitate DWS’s participation in the Letters To Santa program in conjunction with Chicago Public Schools.

Kristyn earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with a Minor in Spanish from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. While at DePauw, she played singles and doubles on the Women’s Tennis team and was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She also spent a semester living in Seville, Spain and studying at the Universidad de Sevilla.

Kristyn lives in Chicago with her husband. Outside of the office she enjoys playing tennis, traveling and entertaining friends/family.
