Angie joined DW Simpson in 2005. Angie graduated from Fairfield University in Connecticut earning a triple major in English literature, English writing, and German. Following Fairfield, Angie had a Fulbright Scholarship and taught English at a bilingual high school in Magdeburg, Angie attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she received her Master’s degree in Comparative Literature in 2002. Angie was recently published in the Actuarial Review discussing "The Current Market for Actuarial Talent." Additionally, Angie’s article "Market Update: Risk Managers" was published in the July/August 2010 Contingencies Magazine. Angie also published an article in the CAS Actuarial Review, May 2008. Angie’s article, "Picking up the Pieces: Actuaries and the Financial Crisis," appears in the American Academy of Actuaries Spring 2009 JobSeeker. Finally, Angie has spoken about International Market conditions for the Chinese Actuarial Club of Chicago. Outside of the office, Angie enjoys cooking and spending time with her friends and family. |
